Aronia fruit (Aronia fructus)
Perennial shrub , has leaves similar to cherry. The fruits are round dark blue, up to 1 cm in diameter. They ripen and are harvested in August-September.
In our gardens the plantations are in fruiting maturity. We have built drip irrigation.
We pick some of the fruit for drying in a chamber dryer up to 55 degrees, and use some for our cold-pressed organic juices. We also prepare chokeberry fruit flour.
