The myth of danewort :
In ancient times, on a small island in the Aegean Sea, there was a mysterious garden filled with magical plants. Among them was the buzac, known among the locals as the plant of the gods. According to legend, the god of healing, Asclepius, discovered the miraculous properties of the plant and used it to cure the sick and wounded.
The danewort, offered numerous health benefits. It was able to purify the blood, strengthen the immune system and even ward off evil spirits and disease. Legend told of a young warrior who was severely wounded in battle and healed thanks to the elixir made by Asclepius from the fruit of the Elderberry.
Over time, the plant became a symbol of protection and healing, with many travellers wearing its branches as amulets for health and longevity. The elderberry not only enriched the medicinal practices of the ancient people, but also left a lasting imprint on their myths and legends, symbolizing the eternal bond between nature and man in the pursuit of harmony and health.
