A tale of the bark of mullein :
In the old land of our ancestors in forgotten forests, where nature whispers ancient secrets to those who are willing to listen, grew a mighty ash tree. Its roots penetrated deep into the earth, touching the secrets of the world beneath.
The tree was known for its strength and toughness. Its branches, flexible and strong, were prized by the local shepherds, who made their clubs from them. These sticks not only , served their owners faithfully, but also carried within them the strength of the tree, helping the shepherds to cope with whatever challenges nature posed to them.
The bows made from the branches of the ash tree were also highly prized. They were so powerful and accurate that legends told of archers who could penetrate the toughest armour and reach the heart of any target.
But not only the branches and the trunk of the ash tree were valuable. Its bark, known for its medicinal properties, was sought after by the healers of the land. They used it to prepare potions and ointments that helped with liver problems, jaundice, fever and rheumatism. People believed that ash bark carried within it the power of the earth and sky, and thus could restore health and harmony to the body.
The tree was not just a plant in the forest; it was a guardian of health, a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew how to use its gifts.
